I remember seeing the Radiohead video for 'Street Spirit' by Jonathan Glazer I believe, and thinking it was the most beautiful thing I'd seen. I used the basic premise for that but set it in a natural context to symbolise man's affinity with nature. Notise the hat is left behind on earth, I like this detail most of all. Obviously you can take what you will from this and let me know you think, you know how much I love receiving comments.
really great colours nick seems washed out but I like it. Shaim about the loss of detial in the sky but cant really be helped I supose. I think I may have a crack at this compo.
yah, well there are several things I don't like about this shot for instance the lighting since we had been up all night, no one could be arsed waiting for the sun to come up and light it properly. This means I had to use a wide aperture and so not everything is in focus, I wanted to use the hyperfocal point, and that can only be used at narrow apertures. Thus some of the trees have burnt out, I needed the fast shutterspeed for the jump.
Having said that, I'm not sure whether to be humbled or offended by your wanting to take the shot again; it's like you're saying "nice effort, but I reckon I could do it better"
Just what I think anyway. But thanks for the comments man, and i'll speak to you soon.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
